Community Centre
The heart of our vibrant over 55s retirement village is our Community Centre. A luxurious centre point that sits proudly overlooking the lovely landscaped grounds of Applewood.
Stepping into the Community Centre – the hub of village life – is like stepping into a five-star hotel.
Residents gather in the lounge area for social functions – or simply to enjoy one another’s company.
In summer, residents can have a casual get together or barbeque on our expansive balcony overlooking the full-size, professional practice bowling green. In winter, residents can enjoy a glass of wine comfortably by the open fireplace.
There is a stylish bar for morning coffee, afternoon tea or early evening drink; a well-equipped restaurant to entertain family and friends; a large private dining room for functions and a well-stocked library all on the ground floor. There is also a snooker room on the lower ground floor.
Enjoy the solitude of reading The Age or Herald Sun newspaper delivered daily for residents to enjoy or relax in the lounge listening to a resident pianist twinkle the ivories on our baby grand piano.
