Activity Centre
At Applewood, there is a busting social calendar with a broad mix of special interest groups and social events organised by both residents and village staff.
Nestled within the gardens at Applewood is our spacious, fully self-contained Activity Centre. The Activity Centre is suitable for a variety of purposes and is home to many of our regular weekly classes including; pilates, tai chi, line dancing, indoor carpet bowls, and table tennis to name a few.
Our large screen television enables our residents to watch blockbuster movies on the big screen. Residents are also welcome to book the Activity Centre for private functions from grandchildren’s parties to milestone events such as anniversaries and birthdays. Residents are able to hire the Activity Centre upon request at no charge.
The Activity Centre is also home to regular trivia and music nights where residents are entertained by visiting professional entertainers.
